An Award-Winning Online Escape Room

How an online escape room works:

live interactive experience

A game master hosts our online and virtual escape rooms in a physical set or escape room. They're your teammate to help you along your way! They will provide help and show you a live feed of the game space.

game inventory system

All of our online escape rooms has a proprietary inventory system, where players can access room pictures, puzzle resources, sound clips, and more! For the best experience, we recommend having a second device handy (such as a phone, tablet, or laptop), to view the Zoom call on one screen and access the resources on another.

Players can be located around the world

With only private bookings, our online escape rooms are a great way to connect with loved ones or host a team-building activity, regardless of your location! Players within the same booking can be in different places.

video call

Once you've made your booking, you'll receive a confirmation email with your Zoom details. Please forward this information to all of your teammates - they will use the same information to log into your game. Your game host will be on this video call, interacting with your team and showing you a live feed of their perspective in the physical game.

Game Overview

One year has passed since the seven dwarfs helped Snow White defeat the evil queen, and now they’ve retired to a quiet cottage deep in the forest.

But happily ever after is never that easy, and evil is rising once again! The evil queen’s followers plan to use the poison apple to bring about her malevolent return. Snow White has tasked you to destroy the devious fruit once and for all, and rumour has it that the only way to rid the world of its evil is to cast it into the very centre of the earth.

Now it falls to you to save the day. Answer the call, hoist your pickaxe, and prepare to dig deeper than ever before to defeat the evil queen!

Seven Dwarfs online escape room FAQ

No! Although inspired by tales that we all grew up with, there’s absolutely no outside knowledge needed to solve this game.

The team at Improbable Escapes created their own stories within the Snow White universe, to create this game.

Knowledge of Snow White, Maleficent, Seven Dwarfs, or Prince Ferdinand will not help you or give you an advantage in this game.

Our online games are fully interactive, immersive, and strangers will never be added to your booking; your booking is only for your group. After booking the game, you’ll receive a confirmation email with video call (Zoom) information. You can forward this email to your teammates that are not located in the same household as you! During your game, you will be interacting with an actor, who’s in the physical escape room. They’re your teammate; guide them around the space, ask them questions, and ask them for help! Our online games are fully interactive and immersive.

If customers book themselves in for an online escape room below, this online escape room has a minimum of 1 player and a maximum of 30.

With teams over 12 players, we change the style of game play, and host a fun interactive competition within the game. This style has been receiving rave reviews from corporate bookings and other large bookings!

If you have over 30 players, we still have options for you! We will need to make a special booking for your group, so please contact us below.

The pricing is per person, not per screen or per connection, at $29.95 each. There’s a minimum booking fee of $89.85 for all bookings, which is equivalent to the cost of 3 players.

We have implemented this system to remove our previous 3 player minimum for bookings, so that 1 or 2 players can still enjoy this experience! If you are a team of 1, 2, or 3, your cost will be $89.85 for your booking. For groups larger than 3, it costs $29.95 per person.

We require full payment at the time of booking – similar to buying tickets for a theatre show! If your number of players increase, we will charge the credit card on file for the additional players.

Please note our pricing is in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and inclusive of all taxes and service fees.

No! All of our games are private games. No strangers will be added to your booking.

Seven Dwarfs: Mining Mission is a very well-done game. The puzzles are on-theme and the decor in the rooms is fantastic. The puzzles are on the easier side, but the close-up pictures provided really help the game’s online playability. Improbable Escape’s inventory system is excellent. Parallel puzzle solving is available throughout the game allowing more players to feel engaged. A detailed overhead view of each room helps online players better understand the space and the physical relationships between game elements.

The experience has a series of rooms which are all amazing and themed to such a high standard. Every little part of the room was as you would expect and we could only wish we could see it with our own eyes. Whilst at a first glance you can easily become overwhelmed with the amount of puzzles, once you get started, it starts to seem very possible. With the physical room having only a 36% escape rate, it is a great challenge virtually too! This family-friendly adventure appeals to all ages, but offers a genuinely distinct challenge that will make it a pulse-pounding race toward the finish, even for the most seasoned of players.

This room is one of the most immersive rooms we’ve ever done – similar to their other room Neverland: Heist at the High Seas. The puzzles are generally very good requiring a variety of skills and using some unique pieces. Though technology is abundant in this room the designers have balanced it out with dark and rugged puzzles intermingled throughout. The overall immersion is excellent. It feels like you’re in a cottage and it feels like you’re in a dwarf mine. And overall it was a lot of fun but took some effort to not let that frustration get to us!
